As we approach the middle of the Indian T20 Premier League, teams are evenly placed and it is certainly time for some to buck up, while for the others to consolidate their standings in the points table.

followed by an unbeaten 68 against Bangalore and 43 v Punjab.
Yuzvendra Chahal: The Rajasthan leg-spinner is putting up a show which just cannot be ignored. Wearing the Purple Cap for taking most wickets (12 in five games at an astonishing economy rate of 6.80), Chahal is arguably the best performing spinner of the tournament so far. His partner Kuldeep Yadav, who is seems to have revived his confidence under Rishabh Pant at Delhi, is not far behind Chahal after claiming 10 wickets in four games.
Here are some foreigners that you can’t ignore.
Jos Buttler: The Englishman is the proud owner of the Orange Cap for leading the run charts with 375 in six games. Buttler has already slammed two centuries and looks in sublime form for Rajasthan. He should definitely be the top-most foreign star in your line-up.
Shimron Hetmyer: The West Indian’s big-hitting ability came to the fore when he turned the tables on Bangalore with his unbeaten 59 off 36 balls during their three-run win. He dished out another impactful 42 not out against Bangalore albeit in a losing cause.
Quinton de Kock: If we have to name one consistent opener of the tournament, it has to be Quinton de Kock. The South African star is totally living up to the reputation of being Mr Consistent by giving rollicking start to new entrant Lucknow. De Kock’s contribution is also helping the team at the top especially when skipper KL Rahul has struggled.
Wanindu Hasaranga: The Sri Lankan spinner has been one of the top finds for Bangalore.
No wonder they pumped in Rs 10.75 crore in the auction. Hasaranga has claimed 10 wickets in five matches at an economy rate of 8.15. He played a key role to open Bangalore’s win account with his terrific spell of 4-0-20-4 against Kolkata at the DY Patil Stadium.
Andre Russell: Till the time this West Indian giant is at the crease, the match isn’t over. One of the most merciless hitters in T20 cricket, Russell’s prowess was in full display when he slammed 31-ball 70 not out to help Kolkata beat Punjab. Kolkata looked in trouble at one stage, chasing 138, but Russell put up an incredible show, sending the ball into the Wankhede Stadium stands eight times in his innings. During their match against Hyderabad, Russell’s unbeaten 49 off 25 balls at No.7 pushed Kolkata’s total to 175-8. Kolkata are yet to explore his bowling ability.
