Pune: Prostitution Racket Busted At Massage Centre In Aundh; 4 Thai Women Among 6 Rescued
Aundh, 13th April 2022: The social security cell (SSC) of the crime branch of Pune city police has exposed prostitution that was going on under the name of a massage centre in Aundh, Pune.
The arrested person has been identified as Sagar Shyam Pawar (32) of Lonavla. A case has been registered against Manish Ishwar Mutha (resident of Kondhwa), Rahul Jigjini and three others at Chatushrungi police station.
The crime branch came to know that prostitution was going on in ‘Aura Spa’ in a building in Aundh. A decoy customer was sent to verify the information. After confirmation, a team raided the spa and arrested the accused person. Six women including four from Thailand are among the rescued.
The SSC team included Senior Police Inspector Rajesh Puranik, PSI Supriya Pandharkar and Rajshree Mohite, Ashwini Kekan, Sneha Dhuri, Pramod Mohite.
