Pune: Sanjay Gulab Ghule Booked For Demanding Rs 10 Lakh Extortion From Goel Ganga Builder
Mohammadwadi, 11th April 2022: A case has been registered by Pune city police against 15 persons including Sanjay Gulab Ghule (BJP Corporator) for allegedly demanding Rs 10 lakh extortion money from Goel Ganga builder.
Based on a complaint from Anuj Umesh Goel (39), MD of Goel Ganga Developments, an FIR has been registered at the Kondhwa police station.
According to the police, Ghule has sold his land at Mohammadwadi to the complainant’s Shree Balaji Realty. Construction is currently underway on the site. He and his family have received full compensation for the land. However, for various reasons like donations for festivals and temple construction, Ghule took the money but used it for personal work instead of social work. Ghule allegedly went to the construction site and abused the security guards and the developer and demanded Rs 10 lakh extortion money.
The case has been registered against Sanjay Gulab Ghule of Mohammadwadi, Pushpa Mandire, Razia Sheikh, Anita Salvi, Chetan Bhondwe, Usha Kamadhenu and nine others.
