Hadapsar, 24th March 2022: The officials from Hadapsar Police Station have returned stolen ornaments and vehicles, totally worth Rs 1.5 crore, to their original owners in the last five months.

Yesterday, gold jewellery weighing 294 grams and silver of about 1066 grams, worth Rs 11.76 lakh, were returned.

Earlier police had returned 600 grams of gold, 1,100 grams of silver, along with a total of 106 two-wheelers and four-wheelers and 38 mobile phones.

Also, a total of 249 unattended two-wheelers in the Hadapsar area for years have been collected and the names and addresses of 116 two-wheelers have been traced and the vehicles worth about Rs 58 lakh will be returned to the original owners.

The action was taken under the guidance of DCP (Zone 5) Namrata Patil, ACP Bajrang Desai, Senior Police Inspector Arvind Gokule, Inspector (Crime) Pune, Shri Dingbar Shinde, Inspector of Police (Crime), Hadapsar Police Station, Muddamal Vibhag, Police Hawa. G.D. Irkar and Hawa. SS Mhangare efforts have helped them bring back their valuables to the victims. Citizens thanks and appreciates the Hadapsar police station for recovering his stolen gold and silver jewellery.
