Pune Local Set To Compete For International Bench Press Championship In Kazakhstan

Wanowrie, 24th March 2022: Deepak Sharma, an athlete from Pune is ready and set to compete for IPF International Men and Women Classic Bench Press Championship.
Starting his professional career after reaching the age of 50, Sharma has become a local inspiration for fitness and gym enthusiasts.
Working in ‘IT’ almost certainly means having to live an unfit or unhealthy life but with the help of his team and coach Prasant Jagtap (Sparks Gym), he is now able to compete in an international championship, Sharma told PunekarNews.in.
He also emphasized the importance of taking the initiative to do things and if one is willing enough even the age proves to be just a number. He suggested young individuals, fellow trainees and athletes to help make the community more aware of the importance of fitness and help them develop a healthy lifestyle.
