New Delhi, 22nd February 2022: Amid rising tensions between Ukraine and Russia, an advisory has been issued by the Indian Embassy in Ukraine on Tuesday. Indian students have been asked to return home instead of waiting for confirmation of online classes by universities.

Issuing another advisory, the embassy said, “The Indian Embassy is receiving a large number of calls asking for confirmation of online classes by medical universities. This was the third advisory issued by the Indian Embassy in Kyiv.”

An advisory dated 20 February said, “In view of the continuing high level of tension and uncertainties regarding the situation in Ukraine, all Indian nationals whose stay is not deemed necessary and all Indian students are advised to temporarily leave Ukraine.”
