Pune, 29th January 2022: Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope today said that the peak of the third Coronavirus disease (COVID19) wave is gone now in Maharashtra as positive cases are reducing in places that were the worst hit.

“Yes, I can say that peak of the third wave has gone now because numbers are reducing in cities like Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar where the situation was worst. At the same time number is high in metro and rural places like Nashik, Nagpur, Pune and Aurangabad but here too there is no reason to worry as people are getting cured in 5 to 7 days with simple treatment”, Tope said.
