Pune: PMPML Launches New Bus Route From Hadapsar To Nira Village

Hadapsar, 21st January 2022: A new bus route from Hadapsar to Nira, route number 213 under Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) was started today. The inauguration ceremony of the new bus service in the presence of honorable dignitaries was organized at Hadapsar Gadital.

“The distance from Hadapsar to Nira village is 64 km. There will be three buses on this route and the bus service will be available every 60 minutes at the bus stops”, said PMPML Transport Manager Dattatraya Zende during the inauguration ceremony.

Route No. 213 will have the following bus stops – Hadapsar, Bhekrainagar, Devachi Uruli Fata, Wadkinala, Zendewadi, Dive, Pawarwadi, Saswad, Yamai Shivri, Takrarwadi, Belsar, Jejuri, Jejuri MIDC, Daundaj, Walhe, Kamathwadi, Pisurti Fata, Rakh Gulunche Fata, Thopte Vasti, Nira.

The first bus from Hadapsar to Nira leaves at 5.30 am and the last bus is at 8 pm. The first bus from Nira to Hadapsar is at 6.50 am. The last bus is at 7.40 pm.

“With the launch of this bus service, citizens will be able to travel at affordable rates”, he added.

After the inauguration ceremony at Hadapsar, the bus started its journey from Hadapsar towards Nira village on the new route. In Nira village, the villagers welcomed the bus service with drum rolls and flowers.

Corporator of Pune Municipal Corporation Maruti Tupe, BJP’s Maharashtra Vice President Sachin Lambate were present at the event. On this occasion, the chief guests of the inauguration ceremony were the Chief Transport Manager of PMPML, Dattatraya Zende, Hadapsar Depot Manager Subhash Gaikwad, Assistant Depot Manager Mohan Dadas and Jeevan Jadhav.
