921 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 1,02,467 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 4 September 2021: A total of 921 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1100 people were discharged from hospitals. 08 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours. Today, a total of 1,02,467 doses of the COVID vaccine was administered to people in the district.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 9,516 active patients in the district and 4748 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4768 are in home isolation. Out of 921 new cases, 199 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 193 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 65 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 12 in cantonments, and 452 in rural areas.
Among the 08 deaths, five were in PMC, one was in PCMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 1100 discharged patients, 391 were in PMC, 135 were in PCMC, 73 were in municipal councils, 16 were in cantonments, and 485 were in rural areas.
