750 new COVID patients detected in Pune city, 25 deaths

Pune, July 14, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 728 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 750 new patients were detected while 25 patients died (see below). Today swab samples of 5749 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 29,107 out of which 18,824 have been cured while 874 have died. There are still 9409 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 513 critical patients out of which 198 are on ventilator support.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 8171 out of which 4879 have been cured while 129 have died. 1942 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 242 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 44 non-PCMC residents have died while 405 have been cured.

Maharashtra State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,67,665. Today, newly 6741 patients have been identified as positive. Also newly 4500 patients have been cured today. Till now 1,49,007 patients are cured and discharged from the hospitals while there are still 1,07,665 active patients in the state. Today, 213 people died taking the total deaths to 10,695 till now.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 906751 across the country. Out of this, 571459 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 23727 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 311565 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
