ADC reviews arrangements for “Spirit of India run” at Udhampur
UDHAMPUR, MARCH 19 -Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Angrez Singh Rana reviewed the arrangements to be put in place for the “Spirit of India Run” contingent in the district.
An Australian contingent led by former Parliamentarian, Pat Farmer, who started “Spirit of India Run” from Kanyakumari on January 26, 2016, will be entering district Udhampur on March 25.The meeting was informed that the contingent will conclude its run in Srinagar on March 31.
ADC instructed the concerned officers to provide requisite facilities to the contingent from Tikri to Patnitop in order to make the event successful. He asked ASP to make adequate security arrangements for the guest as well as for contingent during the run.
The meeting was attended by ASP Udhampur, M L Kaith, CEO Bishen Singh, DYSSO Sudesh Chalotra,SDM Basantgarh Kewal Krishan, AD Tourism Batote Mohd Tariq Naik and other senior officers of the district.
