Pune, 13th September 2023: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) state president, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, has announced that 48 Muslim leaders will be appointed to campaign for the party in all Lok Sabha constituencies across Maharashtra. Their primary task will be to convey the government’s plans and initiatives to the Muslim community in the state. Bawankule expressed optimism that this outreach effort would garner substantial support for the BJP among Muslim voters.

Bawankule made this announcement while addressing the media in Pune. He emphasized that the Muslim community has shown a growing affinity towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recognizing India’s achievements under his leadership. Bawankule believes this sentiment will translate into significant support for Modi and the BJP. He also praised the grand alliance government for its collaborative decision-making and emphasized that national interest takes precedence over power for everyone in the government. Modi’s vision of an independent India has brought together various political parties to support this cause.

“The ongoing disqualification hearing of Shiv Sena MLAs will be conducted before the Assembly Speaker, starting tomorrow. Two lawyers from the UBT group will represent the case.” Bawankule commended Rahul Narvekar, one of the lawyers, for his excellent legal skills, expressing confidence that the outcome will be fair and free from factionalism or bias.

He noted her strong local connections and dedication to delivering government programs in her constituency, expressing confidence that she will secure a resounding victory with over two lakh votes regardless of her opponent.

Additionally, Bawankule raised questions about Uddhav Thackeray’s alignment with Udayanidhi Stalin’s statement and its implications for the alliance. He pondered whether Thackeray would leave the INDIA alliance if he did not align with the statement. Bawankule also touched upon the concept of Hindutva and its potential implications on the political landscape.
