24 JCOS GOT COMMISSIONED AS RELIGIOUS TEACHER AT INSTITUTE OF NATIONAL INTEGRATION, PUNE

Institute of National Integration (INI) was established in the year 1985, with an aim to impart training to Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and Non Commissioned Officers of the India Army on Harmony, Tolerance, commonality of religion and national integration through our rich cultural and historical roots.

 

On 27 May 2017, 24 Recruits of Recruit Religious Teacher Course-82 on completion of 11 weeks of specialised training at INI got commissioned as Junior Commissioned Officers at the passing out parade ceremony.  Recruit JC-247371X Nb Sub/RT (Granthi) Sukhwinder Singhwas awarded the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Army Training Command Gold Medal for being the best Recruit Religious Teacher and Recruit JC-732733Y Nb Sub/RT (Pandit) Govind Sharma was awarded the Commandant’s Silver Medal for the best in discourse during the course.  The Chief Guest Brig K Birendra Singh, Comdt INI, presented the medals to these Recruit Religious Teachers.  He also presented ‘Gaurav Padak’ to the parents of these trainees of Recruit Religious Teacher Course-82, during the ceremony.
