14 Special Trains Scheduled for Christmas and New Year Holidays Between Panvel and Madgaon to Ease Passenger Rush

Panvel, 14th December 2023: To reduce the rush of passengers during the Christmas and New Year holidays, 14 special trains are being operated between Panvel and Madgaon.

Train No. 01427 Panvel – Madgaon Special – 6 coaches will run from December 22, 2023, to December 31, 2023, departing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 21:10 from Panvel and arriving at Madgaon Junction at 06:50 the next day.

Train No. 01428 Madgaon – Panvel Special – 6 coaches will operate from December 22, 2023, to December 31, 2023, departing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 08:00 from Madgaon and reaching Panvel at 20:15 the same day.

Stops include Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangmeshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavli, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, and Karmali.

Structure: 22 coaches – 6 air-conditioned third-tier, 4 sleeper, 12 general second class, guards’ break vans.

Train No. 01430 Madgaon – Panvel Special – 1 coach will depart from Madgaon at 21:00 on January 1, 2024, and arrive at Panvel at 07:20 the following day.

Train No. 01429 Panvel – Madgaon Special – 1 coach will depart from Panvel at 08:20 on January 2, 2024, and reach Madgaon Junction at 21:30 the same day.

Stops and structure remain the same as the earlier mentioned trains.”
