12 Schools in Pune District Declared Unauthorized by Education Department

Pune, 18th April 2023: Zilla Parishad (ZP) education department has issued a list of twelve unauthorized schools in Pune district, urging parents not to enroll their children in them. The maximum number of unauthorized schools, four in total, are located in Haveli taluka.

Sandhya Gaikwad, the Primary Education Officer for Pune Zilla Parishad, released the list of unauthorized schools, stating that the government had not approved the running of these schools, and they had not completed the necessary documentation. The list was compiled after a survey conducted by the education authorities in response to reports of unauthorized schools operating in the district.

The twelve unauthorized schools are located in Purandar, Khed, Daund, Mulshi, and Haveli taluks. They are as follows: Mangesh Memorial International School in Daund taluka, Crayons Pre Primary School in Kasurdi, KK International School in Betwadi, Kalpavriksha English Medium School at Kirkatwadi in Haveli Taluka, Craze English Medium School in Kolhewadi, Kindergarten English Medium School in Khadakwasla, Pune International Public School in Loni Kalbhor, Jaihind Public School in Bhose in Khed Taluka, SNBP Techno School in Bavdhan, Ankur English School at Jambhe in Mulshi taluka, Sai Balaji Public School at Nere, and Shrinath English Medium School at Veer in Purandar taluka.

The education department has urged parents to not enroll their children in these unauthorized schools. Gaikwad also advised parents to contact the education officer at their local panchayat samiti office for further information.
