117 fresh COVID patients in Pune city, 6 in PCMC areas today
Pune, May 7, 2020: Today till 9 pm today, a total of 117 new Coronavirus positive patients were reported under Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) areas taking the total tally to 2146. Also, seven patients died while 84 patients were discharged after being cured.
According to PMC officials, out of 2146 patients, 671 have been discharged while 125 have died till now since the first case was detected on March 9. There are still 1350 active patients admitted in different hospitals including 72 critical patients. The PMC authorities depicted the number of patients on ward wise maps.
In PCMC areas, with six new cases, the total number of COVID patients has reached 151 till 8 pm today. 7 patients have died including 3 from outside PCMC areas. There are nine more PCMC residents who are positive and admitted to hospitals outside PCMC. Till now 65 patients including 3 from outside PCMC have been cured and discharged from hospitals in Pimpri and Bhosari.
