1114 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 812 Discharged Today

Pune, 10th July 2021: A total of 1114 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 812 people were discharged from hospitals. 14 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,669 active patients in the district and 5875 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4794 are in home isolation. Out of 1114 new cases, 320 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 228 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 90 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 16 in cantonments and 460 in rural areas.
Among the 14 deaths, five were in PMC, two in PCMC, one in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), one in cantonments and five in rural areas. Out of 812 discharged patients, 302 were in PMC, 210 were in PCMC, 21 in municipal councils, 22 in cantonments, and 257 in rural areas.
