100% Vaccination Of Eligible People Completed In Pune District

Pune, 8th December 2021: Almost every eligible person has received the first dose of vaccine against Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in the Pune district. After Mumbai, Pune is the second district in Maharashtra to complete 100% vaccination of the eligible population.

According to officials, Pune has a population of over 1.13 crore of which 83.42 lakh people are eligible for the vaccination. The district has already completed vaccination for the first dose of around 83.41 lakh population. Around 54.72 lakh people have been vaccinated for the second dose in Pune.

The eligible population for the vaccination include those above 18 years of age as the government has not yet allowed vaccination of children.
